Non-Refillable Cylinder Disposal Service

 Absolute Gases is regularly asked by the market whether we can offer a cylinder disposal service. 

We have listened and are now pleased to announce that – with immediate effect – we will receive cylinders returned to us for safe and efficient disposal, based on the following:

· We will accept returns of Absolute Gases supplied cylinders, boxed in minimum shipment quantities of 20 off. Cylinders not originally supplied by Absolute Gases will be accepted subject to prior agreement prior to shipping.

· We will arrange collection of the cylinders using our Dangerous Goods accredited freight partners, and can supply the necessary shipping labels as required. 

· Absolute Gases will safely check and empty any residual gas once received, and then remove the cylinder valve to ensure no retained pressure.

· The cylinders and valves will be sent as scrap metal for recycling. 

All profits generated from this service will be donated to a local, Kent Children’s Charity, Demelza Hospice Care.
